Fundraising allows Community Nursing Services of North East to continue its tradition of providing care for clients who need our services, but have limited financial resources or no insurance benefits. Fundraising may include special events, direct mail campaigns, grant seeking or estate planning.

The most popular fundraiser for Community Nursing Services of North East is our annual Cocoa Shell Mulch Sale. Thousands of bags of cocoa mulch have been sold over the past five years. This year, the cocoa mulch trucks will start to arrive at the end of April with the sale continuing thru the first weekend in May.

Cocoa mulch is an excellent choice for your springtime garden projects. The mulch features the outer shell of the cocoa bean and provides many benefits for your soil, including no need for additional fertilizers and reducing weed growth.

There will be no increase in price this year, with 2-cubic-foot bags still selling for $7 per bag. Mulch is sold on a pre-order basis. For details and / or to place your order for 2010, click on the link below.
